About this course

This course was designed for teens with diverse and often challenging backgrounds, including students involved in the juvenile justice system.

Sessions were built around rap music and practical life questions. Students listened to and discussed songs by different artists, using music as a way into conversations about identity and the loyalties and conflicts that shape their everyday lives.
